Woodlets are some of the lowest carbon wood pellets available on the market. They are produced by Land Energy who are one of the only suppliers in the UK to have installed a Combined Heat and Power system at their plant in Girvan. This uses locally sourced, low grade biomass for generating 100% of the electrical and heat energy required in the wood pellet production cycle. Carbon emissions are therefore kept to a minimum.

‘Woodlets’ EN A1 grade pellets are from Girvan, Ayrshire which uses energy derived from its own Combined Heat and Power plant to process the pellets.

Forestry and log waste is used to fire this CHP plant making the whole process as carbon neutral as possible. The plant is over 90% energy efficient.

The pellets produced are very light in colour and carefully controlled for pellet length and density.

They are equally suitable for use both as fuel and animal bedding.

Woodlets are super-premium 6mm wood pellets designed for reliable feeding and clean, efficient combustion in wood pellet boilers and stoves. We make Woodlets from virgin softwood (spruce/pine) sourced from Scottish forests, with timber locally sourced within ~60 miles of our factory and accredited by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). No waste or recycled wood is used in the manufacturing process.
